I bought this recently for a dive trip to the Red Sea. I wore it over my 3 mil for those times I needed the extra warmth, usually on night or early morning dives. This worked great. It came on and off easy (not always the case with a chicken vest) and the extra warmth was noticeable.
My problem was the stitching on the bottom hem came undone by the end of the first dive...in three places! I ended up having to take the hem completely off by the end of the second dive. When I returned from my trip I E-mailed the company, but Pinnacle never replied. I had a seamstress professionally reattach the hem, but for the price you would expect either better stitching or at least some concern from the company that the product they were selling had a defect.
