Great vest for paddlesports, fishing and general boating

I was impressed by this vest in several ways. First of all it has thick foam that kept me from worrying that my daughter would not float well. Secondly, it has very deep armholes and a compact profile which is great for mobility. She can use this vest for almost every activity: fishing, sailing, paddling, etc. Even though it has thick foam, its not bulky like some other vests, it strikes a nice balance. I like the fact that it has a hinged waist, allowing for more movement and comfort while sitting. When sitting, the hinged waist keeps the chest foam from riding up. The only drawback this vest has is that the colors are red and gray, not very safe or visible colors when out on the water.
