More Information

Name is very misleading; don't buy for warmth     On: 2008-01-02

Got these as a gift. They look good, and are lightweight. They may be waterproof, but they provide little if any warmth. Went out today in 15 degree weather and I think my hands got colder than they would have without any gloves. They remind me of the old Isotoner gloves from 30 years ago: tight, form-fitting, and relatively useless. They dont look particularly durable, but perhaps they would make good fair-weather workgloves when working with wet materials. Otherwise, I cant see what they are good for.
Thin, dexterous gloves     On: 2007-12-26

These are some pretty good gloves. I was looking for some thin gloves that would provide a good deal of dexterity and keep my hands somewhat warm. For example using these gloves for driving (being able to get my keys out of my pocket, opening the door, actually driving the car, providing proper warmth to go from the house to the car), These are by no means heavy winter gloves but are ideal for moderate warmth and greater dexterity (am able to tie my shoes with the gloves on). They are completely waterproof as advertised. Essentially there is a rubber membrane inside the glove, this can be a little strange as it feels a bit like rubber gloves with spandex around them, it also has to a lesser degree the feeling of not allowing your skin to breathe, similar to rubber gloves. So far they seem to be fairly durable although have only had them about a month.
