![]() Baby Warma Wetsuit by Konfidence By: Konfidence Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 6 More Information Best I've found This baby wetsuit is great. The way it can be adjusted in three different areas (the tummy, the crotch, and the shoulders) allows it to be the perfect fit. Im sooo glad I got this, and it definitely keeps my baby warmer in the water. Im a swimming instructor and have experience teaching babies to swim, which is what Ive done/am doing with mine. Ive notice a little extra buoyancy, which isnt a bad thing. This is an item I would recommend to anyone who takes their baby in the water, whether its for lessons or simply to play. As a general rule (given the average pool temperature,) babies shouldnt go over 15 minutes in the water, but with a good wetsuit that time can practically be doubled. The baby will likely have more fun too, since he/she will be more comfortable. Great swimsuit for the littlest swimmers I got the Baby Warma for my daughter because we love swimming but most of our public pools dont have warm water pools and in the regular pool her lips turn blue and she starts shivering after a few minutes. The Baby Warma keeps her comfortable for about 45 minutes (indoor pool at about 75 F) which is plenty of time for us to splash about. Since it opens flat, it is super easy to get on and off, the Velcro is very soft and does not rub against her skin. The suit is generously cut, so do not size up! My baby is average build and at now 12 months still has plenty of room to grow into it. Which brings me to the only point I wish that was different: the Velcro tabs could be bigger (longer) to allow for better adjustment. The suit works best when snug, so I have to fasten some of the tabs directly to the neoprene - which works, but causes piling. All in all it was well worth the money. Great product for our skinny baby Our daughter was 6 months old when we started to go to the swimming class. It wasnt a special pool, which means the water is rather cold. Our daughter is long and skinny, which probably explains why she wasnt too impressed and would cling to her mother like to the last iceberg in sight. We decided to order the Baby Warma, and it made a huge difference: she just loves it! Plus, it should last us for at least 5-6 months, given the very clever adjustment system. All in all, a great product! love it I got this for my son because he couldnt stay in the pool for more than 5 minutes without his lips turning blue. When I got it in the mail, the size on the tag said 12-24 mo. He was about 7 or 8 months old at the time, and I almost called amazon to have the correct size sent. I pulled it out of the bag, and thought I could make it tight enough on him. I was able to tighten the velcro enough to fit him in to it (hes kind of small for his age too, lower 50 percentile). He is now 17 months old, and it still fits him. I think we will be able to use it until he is two. There is no side velcro on mine, which I was very disappointed about. It makes it slightly harder to get on and off (we do feet first). I am having a baby in April, and plan on using it for this one too. Other than the initial disappointments, this is great! I think my son has less body fat than most babies or something. He still got blue lips after about 15 minutes. Now he is starting to stay in the pool for 30 minutes of more. I love this wetsuit! Perfect! I bought this for my daughters parent child swim lessons. She loves this thing! She swims around like shes in the bath or something. Its very versitile because of the velcro on the shoulder straps, at the crotch and on the side. Shell be able to use this for a couple of years. It was worth every penny. Plus I get so many compliments from other parents on it. Excellent product - Fantastic customer service! This product has worked very well for us. I was initially skeptical because its sleeveless and I thought I wanted something with more coverage, but this actually works better because my 8 month old daughter still has range of motion in her arms to grab for floating toys, play games with arm motions, etc. Its much easier to put on and take off than a regular swimsuit (especially when you have a squirming infant) and it keeps her from getting blue when the pool water is on the cool side. With a regular swimsuit, she wasnt able to stay in the pool for an entire 1/2 hour water class, but now that shes in the baby warma, shes much happier and we dont have to leave early. I was also very impressed in dealing with Konfidence-USA. They seem genuinely concerned with customer satisfaction which is unfortunately rare these days. |
