These gloves are what they say they are but dont rely on these to keep your hands warm. They are great for grabbing fish out of the water due to the little grippers on the palm of the glove and do keep your hands dry, but will not keep your hands warm in extreme cold weather (0-40 degrees F). I gave em a try at a lake I visit every year where snow and bone chillin winds are common. If you want warm gloves try some insulated down gloves, they worked for me-but do I think these gloves are good-YES, are they worth 45-50 bucks-well that depends on how much extra money you have laying around and your needs. Also these gloves are long in the finger area with about 1/4-1/2 inch extra on each finger, no its not just my hands either, I had a couple friends try them on and its the same result, so keep that in mind when ordering-I got a medium size.
