My girlfriend and I bought this boat because we wanted to try kayaking without making a big investment, and also needed something portable that was easy to store. We made five outings with the boat and by the end we were more than ready to give it up. While it is advertised as a 2 person boat, it was incredibly cramped - and neither of us are very large people. The boat is also very flimsy - there is little hull rigidity, making paddling a huge effort, especially if youre going against a current. The inflatable seats that come with the boat also offer little support. The good thing about the boat is that the material making up the hull is tough. We took it over a few rocks and some small white water and it held up well. The paddles Sea Eagle sent us were very nice. It did dry easily and fold up well. For the price, you can definitely do better than this boat, especially if you plan on doing more than the occasional lazy trip on a placid lake.
