This biner is not suitable for clipping directly into hangers or chains. Other than that use it for everything else. Its wide interior diameter make it strong and present a wider bend to pass rope over. The wider bend is just so nice on the rope. Then the outside diameter is smaller to save weight. The autolocker is by far the smoothest autolocking mechinism ever made. It also locks bomber, no fear of opening. And unlike screwgate you know if it is closed it is locked. The gate opens at a slight angle, which allows the mouth to open wider. The wide mouth makes it that much easiser to pass rope through with ease. The head also provides a wide arching surface without any bends. This allows the rope a wide degree of free play which helps it run smoother and prevent binding. For belaying or attaching rope into slings this is the only biner I would reccomend. It is just that good.
