This is a class I jacket, class I is the best you can get. Made for offshore but can be used inshore as well. A little overkill cant hurt, right! The jacket fits good. I feel like a marsh mellow in it but I didnt by this jacket for style!
The photo shown is last years model. This years model has a total of 4 reflective patches on it instead of just 2. It also has a little loop to string a whistle or strobe device around for a little extra safety.
I highly recommend this jacket in all conditions. Sometimes its flat when you go out in the morning and rough 6 hours later. This jacket covers all the "just incase" scenarios. This is by far the lowest priced Class I jacket. Heck, its even cheaper than most dinky class III jackets! Other Class I jackets go for 2-3xs the price of this one.
